Duffs Full House

On Friday 3^rd July we are running a free poker tournament for all of our members and expect this to fill quite quickly (it is free after all). It will start at 7 0 Clock and will be a 5000 chip start and we will be paying the following prizes:

1^st Prize £250

2^nd Prize £150

3^rd Prize £100

4^th Prize £60

5^th Prize £40

Please let us know if you wish to reserve your place and whether you will be signing in any guests on the night so we can accommodate them. Please also remember that you will need to be a member at least 48 hours before the event or be signed in by a member.

We will also be running cash tables throughout the night and of course the Heads Up challenge machines along with all of our usual hospitality.

Well the club has now been open for about 5 days and the feedback is all good.  We really do believe we have got things right in the layout of the club and the facilities. We have taken on some excellent staff and the atmosphere is great not only with the players but also with the staff members.

We have had some quiet nights due to being engrossed with getting the club ready for the big day and maybe some parts of our marketing have been neglected. We are now having a huge blitz this week and embarking on a number of courses of action so that we can fill the venue for all of your enjoyment. We are putting on a free poker game on Friday 3^rd July for everyone to attend (please reserve your seat as we expect the seats to fill) details of this can be found under the latest news section.

We have also changed our tournament schedule so please look in there to see what’s on. In the coming weeks we will be getting some leagues going and introducing jackpots for any bad beats and Royal Flush Bonuses.

Well it’s been a very hectic time here at Duffs Full House.

We battled long and hard to get the club ready for the opening night of the 19^th June and just about made it thanks to a lot of help from friends and family and a sound bunch of tradesmen.

We are very proud of what we have achieved here and believe that we have the best club in the South of England. The atmosphere here is excellent and we have chosen well with our staff and have everything that you would want from a club.

Congratulations to Richard Albrighton who became our very first winner defeating Dave Mortimer in an epic Heads up battle to claim the first prize of over £700.

We will be actively promoting the club now in the next few weeks to get our message out to everyone who has an interest in becoming a member of what will be the friendliest club you can come across. Whatever your interest is in, whether it’s Poker, Snooker, Pool, Darts, Chess etc we are here to look after you and cater for your needs.

Well what a manic week this has been.

We have been working 16 hour days long and hard to get the club ready for this Friday and the end is in sight. We have now had all of our deliveries and the final touches are being put in place.

 Judging from the interest that we have had and the amount of applications the opening night is going to be a cracker. I would be surprised if we had less than 70 players which considering we haven’t had a chance to do too much marketing would be great.

 The main game if you didn’t realise starts at 8 and is a 10,000 chip start freezeout so will be a great first game to win and be our very first champ.

 It would be fantastic if we could have a full house so keep the applications coming in and we hope to welcome you Friday night. Please keep looking in here as there will shortly be stacks of pictures.
