DUFFS NEWSLETTER

We have had so much going on here recently and after having sent out a customer survey have listened to your comments and have addressed a lot of the issues. Most of the feedback has been very good so it is pleasing to know that we have got most of it right. We have made a lot of changes with regards to our website and schedules and have many big events coming up. I apologise now for the length of this mail but there is a lot of information that will be useful to you.

On a personal basis I want everyone to enjoy the club and give everyone what they would want the club to provide and we will continue to make changes as per our members needs and that is of course you.

Summer Super League

The last 2 events for this are this Tuesday and Thursday and then the finals are on Sunday at 2PM where everyone who has taken part in the league even if it was just one day is invited back to play for a seat at the WSOPE. Even if you just have 500 chips then you have a chance of taking it down. The last day being a free one surely must attract most of the members who have chips to play with so will be a great day especially when there are 90 people who have taken part. Don’t forget if you come along this Tuesday and Thursday winning one of the nights will get you an extra 8500 chips to play with. All the details of this can be found here:

£2,000 Live Freeroll

On Saturday 12^th September we will be holding a live free game for everyone to enter with the only cost being £3 for our dealer costs. The winner will take home £900 so every reason to turn up and play. The only condition for this event is that you must open up and play a Sunpoker account. Having said that Sunpoker being part of the IPOKER network which has over 27000 players online every night, are by far the best with regards to service and player rewards and promotions. The Big One

Summary

We are constantly striving to make this the club for you and really do think we have a good mix of games. There are 2 leagues running which give you the chance to gain points for large events and when the Summer League finishes this will be replaced with a much better one.

We have also just added a large variety to our food menu giving you an even greater choice of culinary delights and with our numbers picking up will soon be offering a choice of different games every night.

SUMMER SUPER LEAGUE UPDATE

This Tuesday and Thursday is now the last chance to accumulate those extra chips needed to help you in your quest in getting that WSOPE seat. The final tournament is on Sunday 30^th at 2 PM and everyone who has chips is welcome to attend. Remember that if you win on Tuesday or Thursday you will gain an extra 8500 chips for the main event so there is everything still to play for.

Even if you haven’t played in the league before you still have every chance of taking down the big one and the final day will be a well structured event where everyone has a chance of attending the WSOPE and brushing shoulders with the top players in the world.

DON’T FORGET MONDAY NIGHT IS NOW £30+£10 BOUNTY HUNTER

SUNDAY NIGHTS WILL NOW BE 6PM START WITH A NEW STRUCTURE

Well we have now been open just 7 weeks and things are getting better and better here at Duffs. We now have over 850 members and rapidly approaching the 1000 mark so this means that we are getting busier at our tables and at the club in general which in turn means a more livelier club for all of our members.

If you haven’t looked at the website lately we have been working hard to meet all of our member’s demands and have launched a number of promotions to keep everyone happy. With this in mind we have now decided to launch a new league and guarantee a sum of £5,000 for this league. The details of this will be at the foot of this letter and on our website.

We have also decided to have a Grand weekend madness promotion where we will guarantee £1,000 for this coming Friday, Saturday and Sundays events. Whilst in the guaranteed mood our next £100 Freezeout event on Saturday 29^th August will now also be a £5,000 guaranteed event. Please book your seats for these events to help us cater to your every need.

We will shortly be announcing details (within the next 2 days) of a series of freerolls for our members and will be putting up £2,500 for these games so keep looking in for all details.

Plus we have free poker with The Live Pub Poker League here on a Saturday afternoon at 2 o clock and all are welcome for that.

Our cash tables are now open at 6 0 Clock every day so a nice little warm up for the main events.

NEW LEAGUE

The 5k League

Appropriately called as we are going to guarantee £5,000 and this is how it is going to work. It will be totally separate to our Summer League which ends in 3 weeks time and when the Summer League ends this will be replaced with a new one separate to the 5K league.

On a Friday night we have a £50 Freezeout and on a Saturday night we have a £25 double chance tournament and the league will apply to these 2 games.

Players will receive 1 point for every time they turn up for a game and the following points will be applied depending on where they finish

1^st 15 Points

2^nd 12 Points

3^rd 10 Points

4^th 8 Points

5^th 7 Points

6^th 6 Points

7^th 5 Points

8^th 4 Points

9^th 3 Points

10^th 2 Points

There will also be a randomly drawn bounty player every night where if you knock this player out you will receive 2 points.

The league will run from Friday 14^th August and finish on the 29^th November. At this stage the player who tops the league will receive £400, £300 for second, £150 for 3^rd, £100 for 4^th and £50 for 5^th. The top 75 (including the top5) will then have all their points multiplied by 100 and then converted to chips for the final freeroll game. This will be on Saturday 5^th December. At this game we will guarantee an amount of £4,000 to be paid as per usual tournament structures. If anyone cannot make the 5^th December we will put an appropriate additional amount into an online freeroll. There will be a small charge of 10% from each weeks prize fund which will go to this fund.

JACKPOTS

Our Royal Flush Jackpot currently stands at £409 and the bad beat Jackpot is at £387 so every night has plenty of potential to take away one of these jackpots for a £1 entry fee. Commiserations to one of our players last Friday who hit the Royal Flush but missed out on the jackpot as he had omitted to pay his pound.

Well what a weekend that was!!!

Firstly please accept my apologies for the lack of updates on here but I lost the best friend I ever had last week and times have been hard for me. My mother has always supported me in everything I ever did and will miss her so much. In future the site will be updated daily and we are working hard on getting it revamped.

Our first £100 freezeout attracted 52 players and a wide range of cash games. Many thanks to all those that attended and were patient enough to bear with us on our electrical problem. Thankfully we managed to get this sorted and were able to carry on with the event. The whole weekend was a huge success for us and the feedback again was very positive about the club. If you haven’t made the trip yet please do I promise you won’t be disappointed.

The last 2 weeks have seen the club membership grow to over 820 members and everyday it is getting better. We at Duffs Full House have been very pleased with the progress and are heavily promoting the club to make it the best place to be for all of your Poker and Social needs.

Due to popular demand we will now have cash tables open every night from 6 so you can enjoy a game before the main tournaments start. We have also changed our Monday night game to a £30+£10 bounty hunter game where you will receive £10 for every player you knock out.

The more players we can get every night the better it will be for you and we are trying to do everything that we can to make your club the place to be. We believe we now have the right schedule and once a month will be running a £100 freezeout and every 3 months will start a £500 freezeout. The first date for the next £100 game will be Saturday 29^th August so please put this date in your diaries and feel free to pre-register.

In order to get new members in we have launched a refer a friend scheme where if you bring along a friend you will receive £10 in cash chips once the friend has played in a Poker tournament ( not a freeroll game) and your friend can have a drink on us.

I promise that we do listen to any comments that we have good or bad and will soon be introducing a suggestion box at the club for all of your ideas. Either that or please add your comments on here and we will get back to you straight away.

Poker can be a lot of fun and we will now be offering free tuition on a Wednesday night at 7 O Clock for anyone who wants to learn the game. Wednesday is also our £5 rebuy madness night so ideal for beginners. Please let us know if you would like to take advantage of this tuition. Another good way to learn the game is to play for fun and you can do this on a Saturday afternoon with The Live Pub Poker League which use our venue then. This is a great way to learn the game and make new friends. Of course you would also be welcome to then stay on to our Saturday night games.

The Summer League is now half way through and over 70 people have taken part in this and every one of them has a chance to take away the WSOPE seat.
