We have lots to report on so please take your time reading out latest newsletter as it contains a lot of useful information.
As we continually state we are totally committed here at Duffs Full House to provide you with the best value club and the most social club in the south. We have a number of projects on the go now and would like to share them with you so you get the maximum value from the club.
POKER
Firstly with regards to the poker as you are hopefully aware we have a great value league running and a great weekly schedule for all our tournaments. On top of this we now have a very hectic schedule with a variety of tournaments to meet all your needs. Our main events remaining for the rest of this month are:
THE BIG ONE
This Saturday at 2PM sees the 7th game in the quest to win a mega £10,000 package to this year’s WSOP in Las Vegas. The entry fee is just £25 and the winner gets a seat to the final table of just 10 players for this huge package.
Bounty Hunter
This Sunday at 3PM we have a £75 + £25 Bounty Hunter Game which is a 12,000 chip start and on a 30 minute clock. This is sure to be a great game with lots of play and of course you will get £25 for every player you knock out.
£500 FREEROLL
Following the popularity of our last £500 freeroll we are doing it again. There is a £3 registration fee to allow us to provide you with all dealer dealt tables and we are paying £500 into the prizepool where the winner will get a cool £200 and the rest will be split between the top 7. This is a great chance to win something for nothing and numbers are limited and we obviously expect all places to be filled so rather than missing out would advise you to register as soon as possible. You can do this by phoning the club, mailing us or by filling the form in on the notice board at the club.
THE BAR
We have a number of changes going on with the bar all for your added enjoyment and as from this Sunday we will be having a meat raffle and doing open the box both drawn at 4PM. Open the box works as follows:
You buy a raffle ticket and this gets put into a draw. If we take say £150 from these tickets 50% is paid to the winning ticket holder and the rest is put into the box. The winning ticket holder then gets a chance to open the box with a choice of 13 keys. If that key fits he gets the remaining £75 if not then it rolls over to the following week where that key is removed and the next winner has a choice of 12 keys and so on. The jackpots can get quite high so well worth the visit.
Pool Competitions
Every Monday we will now be having a Pool competition which starts at 8.30 PM and has a £3 entry fee. 75% of the prize fund will go to the winner and 25% to the runner up and we will round the night off with fun games of killer pool and killer darts.
Quiz Nights
Every Thursday we will be holding Quiz nights where we promise the questions will be fun and everyone will have a good chance of winning cash and fun prizes. There will be a £2 entry fee for every player and maximum teams of 6 players. Make sure you get to the club for this great fun night.
Bar in General
We are shortly in the next week or so going to be improving our range of entertainment in the bar. We are going to be installing 2 computers for free use so you won’t have to go through to the back room to use them and our racing fans can instantly look up the latest odds online and be able to place their bets from the comfort of the bar.
We will also be getting a bar billiards table and a table football game for your added amusement.
There are lots more fun nights planned such as Race Nights, WII Challenge nights, Karaoke. Music etc
The Back Room
Work has started on the back room and will be finished by the end of the week. This room will now be totally separate and isolated allowing us to hire the room out if need be for private functions such as weddings, parties and the like. We will also be looking to use it for dance classes, aerobics etc. Most importantly for our members it will be a child friendly room and will be kitted out with beanbags, computers, DVD players, Giant Connect four, playstations so that you can come along for a drink with your children knowing they will have lots to keep them amused and they are fully covered by our top notch CCTV.
We have reduced the price of our drinks as well making a pint just £2.50 and also have a Loyalty Scheme running which in effect reduces the price down to £2.25 a pint.
