Hello from all at Duffs.
Friday night was our first big test really as our online partners Boyle Sports had kindly donated $1,000 (£600) to a live freeroll for our members. The players were playing for a grand prize of £250 for 1st place and paying the top 5. All in all we had 104 players in the event and a great time was had by all. All the feedback we got was positive and the whole event passed smoothly. There are now some pictures in the gallery of this event and hence the reason for bleary eyes as it did finish a little late. The surviving five ended up doing a chop each taking home £120 for their troubles. We had a few cash tables open throughout the night and quite a few Heads up Challenges going on.
The management would like to thank all of the staff for their efforts on the night and hope that everyone enjoyed themselves and will come back with their friends and family. There will shortly be an online freeroll for all of our members who have signed up for an account with Boyle Sports so watch out for news on this but you will be playing for a $2,000 prize pool.
This Tuesday 7th July we will be starting our Summer Super League so check out the details on this website and don’t miss the chance of playing for a seat at the World Series of Poker Europe in September. Also on the 2nd of August we have a £200 5k guaranteed Freezeout so please register early for this event as we expect interest to be high.
