Well what a weekend that was!!!
Firstly please accept my apologies for the lack of updates on here but I lost the best friend I ever had last week and times have been hard for me. My mother has always supported me in everything I ever did and will miss her so much. In future the site will be updated daily and we are working hard on getting it revamped.
Our first £100 freezeout attracted 52 players and a wide range of cash games. Many thanks to all those that attended and were patient enough to bear with us on our electrical problem. Thankfully we managed to get this sorted and were able to carry on with the event. The whole weekend was a huge success for us and the feedback again was very positive about the club. If you haven’t made the trip yet please do I promise you won’t be disappointed.
The last 2 weeks have seen the club membership grow to over 820 members and everyday it is getting better. We at Duffs Full House have been very pleased with the progress and are heavily promoting the club to make it the best place to be for all of your Poker and Social needs.
Due to popular demand we will now have cash tables open every night from 6 so you can enjoy a game before the main tournaments start. We have also changed our Monday night game to a £30+£10 bounty hunter game where you will receive £10 for every player you knock out.
The more players we can get every night the better it will be for you and we are trying to do everything that we can to make your club the place to be. We believe we now have the right schedule and once a month will be running a £100 freezeout and every 3 months will start a £500 freezeout. The first date for the next £100 game will be Saturday 29th August so please put this date in your diaries and feel free to pre-register.
In order to get new members in we have launched a refer a friend scheme where if you bring along a friend you will receive £10 in cash chips once the friend has played in a Poker tournament ( not a freeroll game) and your friend can have a drink on us.
I promise that we do listen to any comments that we have good or bad and will soon be introducing a suggestion box at the club for all of your ideas. Either that or please add your comments on here and we will get back to you straight away.
Poker can be a lot of fun and we will now be offering free tuition on a Wednesday night at 7 O Clock for anyone who wants to learn the game. Wednesday is also our £5 rebuy madness night so ideal for beginners. Please let us know if you would like to take advantage of this tuition. Another good way to learn the game is to play for fun and you can do this on a Saturday afternoon with The Live Pub Poker League which use our venue then. This is a great way to learn the game and make new friends. Of course you would also be welcome to then stay on to our Saturday night games.
The Summer League is now half way through and over 70 people have taken part in this and every one of them has a chance to take away the WSOPE seat. Even if you haven’t played yet you have every chance of taking home the big one so please take the time to look at all the details and if you have any queries about it then please E Mail us.
